Large-Acreage Vegetation Management
Deploy managed herds across parks, watersheds, rights-of-way, open space, and difficult terrain where the acreage exceeds what crews can cover economically.
Above a certain acreage the economics change. Mowing and hand crews scale linearly with area and become difficult on slope; a herd covers ground continuously and can be moved into terrain equipment cannot safely reach.
Phasing
Large properties are normally treated in phases across a grazing season, ordered by fire-risk priority, vegetation stage, and water availability. The plan states which sections are treated in which window so a land manager can budget and report against it.
Working alongside other methods
Grazing is regularly combined with mechanical treatment on the same property — goats on the slopes and the interior, equipment on the flat and the roadside. We are comfortable operating as one part of a larger vegetation-management program rather than the whole of it.
What this service does not do
Stated plainly so a scope can be written against it.

- Herd capacity and mobilization schedule determine realistic acreage per window.
