Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a form on this site, we collect what you enter, which may include:

• Your name, organization, role, email address, and phone number
• Property address, city, county, assessor's parcel number, and property characteristics
• Project details — acreage, terrain, vegetation, objective, timeline, site conditions
• Procurement and budget status
• Any file you choose to upload, such as a site map, scope of work, or photograph
• Anything else you type into a free-text field

Information collected automatically

• Campaign attribution parameters (UTM values), the referring website, and the page you first landed on, stored in your browser's session storage and submitted with a form so we know how an inquiry reached us
• Standard web-server information handled by our hosting provider, including IP address, user agent, and request time
• Analytics measurement data, where analytics is enabled — see the cookie notice

We do not require an account, and we do not ask for payment details, government identification numbers, or any special category of personal information through this website.

Why we use it

• To assess whether managed grazing is a practical fit for the property you describe
• To contact you about your inquiry and to arrange a site review
• To prepare proposals, capability statements, and procurement responses you have requested
• To route and prioritize inquiries internally
• To protect the site from spam and abuse
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used and which pages generate inquiries

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Who we share it with

• Hosting and form processing. This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages; submissions are processed and stored using Cloudflare services. Cloudflare processes this data on our instructions.
• Spam protection. Where enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile is used to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic.
• Analytics. Where enabled, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity receive usage measurement data. See the cookie notice.
• Legal. We may disclose information where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.

Where a project involves a public agency, information you submit may become subject to that agency's own records obligations, including the California Public Records Act. That is the agency's process, not ours, but it is worth knowing before you send anything sensitive.

How long we keep it

Inquiry records and uploaded files are retained for as long as needed to respond to the inquiry and to maintain a record of business correspondence, and are then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your inquiry earlier — see below.

Your choices and rights

Security

Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS, and stored using access-controlled hosting services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise. Please do not submit information through this site that you would not want stored.

Children

This site is aimed at property owners, agencies, and businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

We will update this page when our practices change. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the version currently published.
