Defensible-Space Support
Vegetation reduction around structures, roads, evacuation routes, and critical infrastructure for public agencies, HOAs, and landowners.
Defensible-space work is measured in bands outward from what is being protected. Goats are most effective in the outer bands — the standing grass and brush across a slope, along a road shoulder, or behind a fence line — where the volume of vegetation is large and the terrain is inconvenient.
How projects are structured
Fenced cells are laid out to respect the setback the authority having jurisdiction requires, plus any planting the owner wants left intact. Ornamental landscaping, young trees, and irrigation lines are identified and excluded before the herd arrives, not after.
Coordination
For agency and HOA work, we plan around access, resident notification, signage, and the inspection schedule. Documentation is produced so the property owner can show what was treated, where, and when.
What this service does not do
Stated plainly so a scope can be written against it.
- Grazing addresses vegetation volume; it does not replace inspection or compliance sign-off by the authority having jurisdiction.
- Zone 0 immediately adjacent to structures usually requires hand work.
Project suitability, pricing, grazing outcomes, timing, and regulatory requirements vary by property and agency. A site review is required before any proposal, schedule, or performance commitment is issued.
